Early Morning first drive to Bago, on the way visit Shwe Nyaung Bin, a popular Nat (Spiritual shrin) for safe journey for the car and for the passengers and visit Kyaik pun Paya with four gigantic sitting Buddha images facing four cardinal points of the compass, the central local market of Bago and nearby monastic education center, the Kya khat wain monastery where daily before 11 am a long line of monk form a procession to have their last meal of the day. Then to Shwemawdaw Pagoda which is the landmark of Bago area, Hintha Gone, the foremost site of Bago, the beautiful 55m long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha image, which is one of the country’s most impressive Buddha image. Proceed to Mon Village in Bago to see ‘Mon style’ weaving center and return to Yangon on the way visit to Taukkyan Allied War Graves cemetery to honor 27,000 Allied soldiers who died between 1939 to 1945.
